Andrew Gordon Celebrates First NHL Goal With a Kiss
Filed under: Capitals, Devils, NHL Videos
During the debut episode of “24/7″ the Washington Capitals were in the middle of an eight-game losing streak and looked like a team that was completely down and out of it. Now, the Capitals have won two games in a row, including Tuesday’s 5-1 dismantling of the New Jersey Devils, and the team appears to be having some fun again.
Capitals rookie Andrew Gordon scored his first NHL goal during the first period when he drove to the front of the net and re-directed a pass from Marcus Johansson past Devils goaltender Martin Brodeur.
And how did Gordon celebrate? By returning to the bench and giving Johansson a quick peck on the cheek.
