DC youth learn from stars
Before they take the field Sunday evening at RFK Stadium, D.C. United and Dutch champions AFC Ajax teamed up on Friday afternoon to host a clinic for Washington area elementary school children from United Soccer Club. In addition to stars from both clubs taking part in the action, Netherlands’ ambassador to the U.S. Reneé Jones-Bos also attended the event to inspire the children to stay healthy and active. The clinic was sponsored by D.C. United presenting partner Volkswagen and Ajax’s primary sponsor AEGON.
