Dwyane Wade: ‘My Plan Is to Play’ Against the Lakers

Looks like the “Christmas Three” will all be in action Saturday at Staples Center, as Dwyane Wade, whose left knee forced him out of Thursday’s game against the Phoenix Suns, is going to give it a go.

“My plan is to play,” Wade told reporters Friday after practice at a UCLA gym. “I’ll continue treatment and therapy but having the luxury of resting (Thursday) … was beneficial to me playing.”

Wade went through the team workout Friday afternoon with no problems. His left knee, which has been bothering him since he collided with Dallas Mavericks point guard Jason Kidd on Monday night, is still swollen and stiff but is healing.

Wade is averaging 27.7 points over his past 10 games.
