United ready for Atlantic Cup redemption
OVERCOMIMG THE OBSTACLES
A visit to Toronto is often fraught with challenges for opposing MLS sides ? a boisterous crowd, uncooperative weather, and the usual wear and tear of regular season travel. Over the past weekend United overcame all of these issues and much more en route to a resounding 3-0 win at BMO Field. Two goals from midfielder Chris Pontius and an additional strike from MLS leading scorer Charlie Davies helped the Black-and-Red to their first road win of 2011.
