Updated Winter Classic Weather Forecast
Filed under: Capitals, Penguins, NHL Fans, Winter Classic

Two days away from the Winter Classic and the weather is still the biggest topic of discussion. It’s also proven what some feared when the game was originally given to Pittsburgh: Southwestern Pennsylvania is the worst possible climate for such an event, mainly because mid-40’s and rain isn’t that uncommon for early January. And that’s just what the latest National Weather Service forecast is calling for. The Saturday forecast is still calling for temperatures near 50 and an almost certain chance of rain, mainly after 8 AM ET.
